SF6 switch is a high-voltage appliance widely used in power system, and the reliable operation of SF6 switch has become one of the most concerned issues in the power supply department. SF6 gas density relay is an important component used to monitor SF6 gas density change in SF6 switch body during operation, its performance directly affects the safety of SF6 switch operation. SF6 gas density relay running in the field because of infrequent action, after a period of time often appear inflexibility, poor contact contact and other phenomena, and some will appear density relay temperature compensation performance deteriorates, when the ambient temperature sudden change often lead to SF6 density relay misoperation. Therefore, DL/T596 "Preventive Test Procedures for Power Equipment" stipulates that each SF6 switch user should regularly verify SF6 gas density relays. From the actual operation situation, the SF6 density relay and pressure gauge in the field operation are also very necessary for regular calibration
