The STD100-100 is a duct-mounted temperature sensor from Schneider Electric's STD range, featuring a 100mm probe with an NTC 1.8 kilo-ohm sensing element. Proper sensor placement is critical for accurate measurements. Probe length and air stratification considerations ensure the sensing element measures representative duct air rather than boundary layers near walls or unmixed air streams.

Important Installation Notes: Avoid positions immediately after coils, fan discharges, or dampers where air streams may not be fully mixed. Moving measurement points upstream or downstream is often more effective than changing sensors.
