A front forward-collision warning (FCW) system is also known as forward-collision alert. It may provide visual, audible, or other alerts

when the vehicle is approaching an obstacle. A forward-collision warning system determines the distance and position

of people, vehicles, and other obstacles around the front of the vehicle. Using the speed and distance from the danger, the

system can alert the driver to brake when necessary.



When the system detects that the distance between the vehicle and the preceding vehicle is too close during driving, it will

issue an audio and visual alarm to remind the driver to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
