Description
As a green and environmentally friendly anti-seepage material, Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) uses 100% natural sodium bentonite as the core material, which is non-toxic, tasteless, and non-polluting, and will not cause any harm to the soil, water quality, or organisms. Unlike chemical waterproof materials, it has excellent durability and will not age, corrode, or degrade due to changes in the external environment, ensuring long-term stable anti-seepage performance.
Production Process: Adopt the advanced adhesive bonding + needle punching composite process to avoid the problem of bentonite leakage during use. The geotextile used is a high-quality polypropylene non-woven fabric, which has strong tensile strength and anti-puncture performance; the sodium bentonite is subjected to drying, crushing, and sieving processes to ensure uniform particle size and stable expansion performance. The whole production process is pollution-free, meets the global environmental protection standards, and has passed the ISO 14001 environmental management system certification.
Technical Parameters (Meet ASTM D6363-17, JG/T 193-2006, EN ISO 13760:2019):
  • Bentonite type: Natural sodium bentonite (pH value 8-9)
  • Unit weight of GCL: 4500-5500 g/m²
  • Longitudinal tear strength: ≥ 3.0 kN/m, transverse tear strength: ≥ 3.0 kN/m
  • Hydrostatic pressure resistance: 0.4 MPa, no leakage for 1 hour
  • Water absorption of bentonite: ≥ 5 times its own weight
  • Thickness: 5-10 mm (after hydration)
  • Service life: ≥ 50 years (in dark and dry environment)
Application Scenarios: Suitable for water conservancy and landscape projects that require environmental protection and durability, such as artificial lakes, landscape pools, roof gardens, irrigation canals, and river channel reinforcement. It can also be used in the anti-seepage of farmland water conservancy projects, helping to save water resources and improve the utilization rate of water.
