Product Introduction

This heavy-duty bentonite waterproof blanket is designed for large-scale, high-load projects. It adopts a multi-layer composite structure, including high-strength woven geotextile, thickened bentonite layer, and geogrid reinforcement layer. The product has extremely high tensile strength, tear resistance, and load-bearing capacity, and can withstand the pressure of heavy machinery and large-area backfill soil. It is a high-reliability waterproof material for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Product Features

  • Ultra-high mechanical strength: Tensile strength ≥ 80kN/m, tear strength ≥ 15kN, able to withstand the pressure of heavy machinery and large backfill loads.
  • Thickened impermeable layer: The bentonite layer thickness is increased to 6-8mm, with higher expansion capacity and better impermeability, ensuring no water seepage in large-area projects.
  • Good dimensional stability: Not easy to shrink or deform under long-term load, ensuring the integrity of the waterproof layer.
  • Strong adaptability to complex terrain: Can be laid on irregular base surfaces, and the composite structure can adapt to the uneven settlement of large-scale projects.

Application Fields

Applied to large-scale landfills, large artificial lakes and reservoirs, coastal reclamation projects, large industrial parks, and high-speed railway subgrade anti-seepage projects. It is especially suitable for projects that require large-area laying and bear heavy loads.

Product Installation

  1. Base surface reinforcement: For large-scale projects, the base surface should be reinforced with geotextile first to improve the bearing capacity of the base surface. Ensure the base surface is flat and compacted, with no obvious protrusions.
  2. Laying with machinery: Large-area laying can be carried out with professional laying machinery to improve efficiency. The overlap width between blankets is 30cm, and the overlap area should be pressed with heavy rollers to ensure tight connection.
  3. Fixing with anchor bolts: Use high-strength anchor bolts for fixing, with a spacing of 1m, and the anchor bolt heads should be covered with bentonite caps to prevent water seepage.
  4. Layered backfilling: Backfill in layers, each layer thickness is 30-50cm, and compact each layer with a roller. Avoid heavy machinery directly rolling on the BWB during backfilling, and use a cushion layer to protect the waterproof layer.
