The layout of common functional sections of AHU used in biopharmaceutical industry is similar to that in electronic industry. The special features are:
Some air-conditioned rooms require low relative humidity. Dehumidification devices are usually equipped in AHU. The more commonly used dehumidification includes freezing dehumidification and runner dehumidification. The general functional sections are arranged as follows: fresh air inlet section + initial effect filter section + (front) surface cooling section + middle section + runner dehumidifier + return air section + (rear) surface cooling section + heating section + fan section + medium effect filter section + air supply section.
