Company has established a quality inspection department with four personnel, each responsible for the following inspections:
1. Raw materials, base paper, chemicals, and packaging;
2. Coating—matte and gloss coating amounts, grammage, printing tests, moisture content after coating, flatness, and brightness;
3. Slitting—paper size standards, clean and neat surface, appropriate packaging bag dimensions, flatness, and matching box height.
Testing instruments and equipment
Epson printer, moisture analyzer,
Sampler, weight scale, thickness gauge,
Whiteness meter, smoothness tester, etc.
Test equipments:
1. Precision thickness tester measures the overall thickness of photo paper and the uniformity of coating thickness; high-gloss photo paper commonly uses a 0.1 μm high-precision digital thickness gauge or a laser non-contact thickness meter.
2. Quantitative (basis weight) electronic balance
High-precision analytical balance (0.1 mg) is used to cut standard samples and calculate grams per square meter (g/m²).
3. Paper stiffness tester
Measures the hardness of photo paper, checks for curling or jamming during printing, and performs longitudinal and transverse stiffness tests.
4. Tensile strength testing machine
Tests the tensile strength and toughness of paper to prevent tearing during printing.
5. Elmendorf tear tester evaluates the tear resistance of photo paper.
