400x300 / 17μm Uncooled FPA Thermal Imaging Detector
Apex417C uncooled infrared focal plane detector is developed by SensorMicro. With standard 400x300 QVGA format at 17μm, the Apex417C vanadium oxide microbolometer will exceed your most demanding requirements.
Apex417C ceramic package infrared detector integrates the mainstream vanadium oxide (VOx) microbolometer on the market, the built-in TEC technology readout circuit that keeps stable performance and vacuum package that avoid heat exchange.
Apex417C VOx thermal sensor has characteristics of high sensitivity, stable performance and can present clear imaging quality in various kinds of harsh working environment such as total darkness, thick fog, heavy rain, snow, sand storm etc.

The Apex417C thermal imaging detector is widely used in many areas, such as Thermography, Security & Monitoring, Outdoors, Law Enforcement & Rescue, ADAS etc.
Infrared thermal imaging is a kind of method which utilizes infrared radiation and thermal energy to gather information about objects. It converts invisible infrared radiation into visible infrared thermal image with temperature distribution of the target surface. Different objects and even different parts of the same object have different radiation ability and infrared reflection strength.
A thermal imaging module usually consists of an infrared detector, infrared lens and hardware electronics with software and algorithm embedded. It is the minimum unit of a thermal imaging device.
