Description

This fiber-optic gyroscope is a high-precision inertial angular rate sensor based on the Sagnac effect, designed to measure the rotational angular velocity of a carrier along the sensitive axis. It adopts a digital closed-loop detection circuit to capture the optical path difference of counter-propagating light inside the fiber coil induced by external rotational motion. The system converts the optical path difference into a voltage signal, and completes signal modulation and demodulation. With closed-loop feedback and control technology, it realizes stable, real-time and high-precision angular velocity signal detection.

Function

The product is composed of an optical angular velocity sensitive unit and a signal detection unit. It can stably output high-precision angle increment data and real-time internal temperature information for inertial sensing and system compensation.

Application Areas

This gyroscope is widely applicable to photoelectric cranes, aerial flight platforms, transportation equipment, inertial navigation systems, inertial measurement systems, optical and photographic instruments, platform stabilization devices and other inertial measurement scenarios, serving as a core sensing component for industrial and aerospace motion measurement and attitude control.

  1. Optical components: SLD light source, optical fiber coil, integrated optical phase modulator, optical fiber coupler and photodetector;
  2. Circuit section: light source driving circuit, signal detection and control circuit;
  3. Gyro mechanical structure.
