PTFE hose and tube are manufactured through moulding or extrusion processes using high-quality polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material. As the best polymer material for chemical resistance among all known plastics, PTFE offers exceptional characteristics including corrosion resistance, weathering resistance, dielectric properties, and the lowest coefficient of friction among all known solid materials.
Operating within a wide temperature range from -180°C to +260°C, PTFE features a wax-like surface to which substances hardly adhere. The manufacturing process varies by diameter:
PTFE maintains the best electrical properties of all plastics, making it ideal for electrical insulation across various frequencies, seal liners for corrosive media, anti-sticking applications, and lubrication materials.
