Column type plate rubber vulcanising presses are primarily employed within the rubber and tyre manufacturing industries. They are utilised for pressing various standard, smaller-sized rubber moulded products, as well as thermosetting and thermoplastic plastic moulded items. Through chemical reactions, these presses vulcanise rubber compounds, causing the polymer chains within the material to cross-link. This process enhances mechanical properties such as strength, elasticity, and durability.
The hydraulic system utilizes a high- and low-pressure combination. During mold closing, the high-flow, low-pressure oil provided by a high-flow, low-pressure pump is primarily used to operate the mold. After mold closing, when the pressure is increased, the low-pressure oil is relieved and overflowed, allowing the low-flow, high-pressure pump to provide the high pressure. This ensures efficient operation while reducing the drive rate, thereby reducing energy consumption and increasing efficiency.
The electric heating system utilizes a thermostat to automatically maintain a constant temperature on the hot platen surface. The heaters are rationally distributed, and the heater structure has been effectively improved.
