Syfer / Knowles new StackiCap™ Capacitors are true SMD stacked capacitors designed without a mounting frame and in smaller case sizes that allow higher voltage and capacitance. The StackiCap™ SMD Capacitors also have a unique patent-pending construction and FlexiCap™ termination material that make this capacitor suitable for a wide range of high voltage applications where a large amount of capacitance is required. One of the major advantages of StackiCap™capacitors is significant size reduction, with a reduction from 8060 to 2220 case, for example. Smaller case sizes make these capacitors very useful when board space is limited, or at a premium.
