The SUNTECHMACH ZT-50FA is a new attempt to build a more durable 1300W bearing type steel pipe threading machine. The big gear and main shaft cylinder are equipped with two bearings for a longer life span. The motor has overheat protection — if the temperature rises above 135 degrees it stops running automatically. The front chuck body is upgraded to a bigger size for better clamping of the steel pipe before threading, and the carriage and die head are bigger compared with the old design.

Operation Guide

1. Set the machine on a stable floor and confirm the power supply.
2. Select the correct chaser set (1/2″-3/4″ or 1″-2″) and mount it in the die head.
3. Clamp the steel pipe in the front chuck body.
4. Select the required shaft speed (38 or 24 rpm) with the 2 speed shift.
5. Start the machine and feed the die head to cut the BSPT thread.
6. Reverse to back the die head off, then check the thread with a gauge.
