This accessory can be easily attached to existing visual maintenance indicators using a locking ring, ensuring a secure fit without being influenced by the nominal pressure of the filter. The device operates by monitoring the back pressure or pressure differential in the system, which moves a piston against a spring. This action also shifts a solenoid that is mounted on the piston. The visual pin associated with this mechanism can display two positions: retracted when below nominal pressure and extended when exceeding nominal pressure. Notably, once extended due to pressure changes, the visual pin will remain in this position as an indication of system status, even after power is turned off or during a pressure drop, thanks to its cold start memory function. This feature requires manual acknowledgment to reset.

Incorporated within the WE-1SP-M12X1 are reed contacts that respond to magnetic field changes, allowing for precise operation with one or two switching points. The temperature suppression function ensures reliable performance by discharging excess temperature through the housing of the mechanical/visual indicator. It's important to note that this electronic switching element is not compatible with WOS.PA type indicators made from polyamide but offers modular flexibility and cold start signal suppression capabilities for other systems.
