The HZ-580 Live Cable Identifier — also known as a cable identifier, multifunctional cable identifier, or intelligent cable identifier — is engineered to solve cable identification challenges for electrical cable engineers and technicians. It enables users to accurately identify a specific target cable from among multiple cables, preventing accidental cutting of live cables and avoiding serious accidents.

Cable identification begins with operations at both ends of the cable, ensuring accurate dual labeling at both ends. The instrument utilizes PSK technology combined with precise algorithms. Regardless of the reliability of field personnel's memory, it cannot replace the identification capabilities of professional instruments. This product simultaneously features live cable identification, power-off cable identification, AC current testing, and AC voltage testing functions, and comprises a transmitter, transmission current clamp, receiver, and flexible current clamp.

• Receiver: A handheld device with a 3.5-inch color LCD screen and an integrated high-speed microprocessor.
