17‑4 PH (UNS S17400 / 1.4542 / Alloy 630) is martensitic copper‑niobium precipitation‑hardening stainless‑steel forging stock. After solution annealing followed by different aging heat‑treatment, forgings can achieve adjustable tensile strength, yield strength and hardness, combining high mechanical strength, acceptable toughness and moderate atmospheric corrosion resistance.
We produce diversified 17‑4PH forgings by open‑die and closed‑die hot forging technology, including blocks, discs, hubs, rolled rings, cylinders, sleeves, various shafts, gear blanks and special custom shapes. The material maintains reliable mechanical properties for long‑term service below 316°C. Good machinability in solution‑annealed condition, and acceptable welding performance for forging assemblies.
Our forgings are widely supplied for aerospace, defense, oil‑gas, offshore, energy, paper‑making, medical and heavy‑duty mechanical equipment. We can provide raw forged blanks or finished machined parts according to customer drawings.
