As a versatile strip tension measurement sensor, it is suitable for a wide range of flexible materials, including copper foil, aluminum strip, plastic films, adhesive tapes, thin paper webs, textile ribbons, nylon and polyester films, rubber strips, carbon fiber tapes, optical fiber ribbons, and nonwoven materials. Its single-roller construction ensures smooth material guidance while maintaining stable signal output even during high-speed operation and long production cycles.

Designed as a compact and robust sensing unit, the device incorporates a stainless-steel guide wheel with a 21 mm groove diameter and 22 mm width, making it particularly effective for narrow web and slit-strip applications. Acting as an advanced web tension sensor, it converts bearing-supported radial load into an electrical signal proportional to line tension and wrap angle, enabling precise and repeatable measurement results. This makes it highly suitable for continuous process control and tension optimization in automated production lines. In addition, it supports belt tension measurement applications where stable force detection is required in moving belt or conveyor systems.
