Safety Mechanisms
  • Electrical Safety Protection
    • Clearly requires that the input voltage must match the supply voltage of the gate opener to prevent equipment failure or safety accidents caused by voltage mismatch.
    • Mandatorily stipulates that the power cable must be connected to a weatherproof power outlet with Residual Current Device (RCD) protection, which is installed by a qualified electrician. This provides double protection for electrical safety and is suitable for use in damp environments such as outdoor areas.
  • Safety Control during Installation and Maintenance
    • The power plug must be disconnected before installation and maintenance. Additionally, operations such as wiring, electrical circuit modifications, and voltage adjustment are restricted to qualified electricians only, eliminating the risk of electric shock from the source of operation.
    • Before installing the motor, a Gate End Catch and a Gate Stop must be mounted at each end of the rail to prevent the gate from travelling off the track. Meanwhile, potential hazards of the gate and exposed pinch points must be eliminated in advance to ensure safety during the installation process and equipment operation.
  • Restrictions on Usage Scenarios and Operational Safety
    • Installation in explosive atmospheres or areas with flood risks is prohibited to avoid safety accidents caused by extreme environments; moreover, the equipment is only suitable for use with a single sliding gate to eliminate safety hazards in non-compliant scenarios.
    • Control devices must be installed away from the moving range of the gate, and users are prohibited from operating the controls by reaching over, under, around, or through the gate; remote controls and other control devices must be kept out of children’s reach.

    • Maintenance or repair should only use original parts. The company won't be liable for the automation system's safety and proper operation if parts from other suppliers are used.
