PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The ID426 Pipe Beveler is a heavy-duty, internally mounted beveling machine designed for precision weld end preparation on large-diameter pipes. With a machining range of 9.84" to 16.77" (Φ250 mm–426 mm), it is ideal for applications in power plants, petrochemical facilities, and heavy industrial maintenance. Utilizing a cold cutting process, the ID426 avoids heat-affected zones, ensuring high-quality weld joints. It handles various machining tasks including V and U groove beveling, counterboring, facing, and chamfering.

The unit is compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials. Quick internal mounting is achieved through a self-centering three-jaw expanding mandrel. Offered with both electric and pneumatic drive options, the ID426 delivers versatility, safety, and performance in demanding on-site or workshop environments.

DRIVE OPTIONS

To meet the demands of different work environments and user needs, the ID426 Pipe Beveler is available in two drive configurations.

IDE426 – MT Electric Motor Drive

Powered by a high-performance 2.2 kW (2.95 Hp) MT electric motor operating at 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz, the IDE426 delivers stable torque and precise control throughout the cutting process. This version is ideal for use in workshops, fabrication facilities, and industrial environments with consistent electrical power. It is well-suited for continuous operations that require precision, repeatability, and reduced operator fatigue.

IDP426 – Pneumatic Motor Drive

Equipped with a powerful 2.76 kW (3.75 Hp) pneumatic motor, the IDP426 runs at 2.8 m³/min @ 0.6 MPa of compressed air. The air-powered design is explosion-proof and low-maintenance, offering safe and efficient performance in flammable or hazardous work zones. Its lighter construction and high-speed operation make it ideal for on-site pipe beveling in oil & gas, chemical processing, and offshore applications where electric power may be limited.
