Mold Release Agent
Technical Introduction
This is a water-based, semi-permanent mold release agent containing a specially structured polysiloxane. It quickly forms a uniform and dense thin film on the mold surface, reducing adhesion between the rubber compound and the mold, improving the appearance quality of the product, and reducing the frequency of mold cleaning.
Application Areas:
This mold release agent is suitable for all types of rubber except silicone rubber.
Instructions for Use:
First, the mold should be thoroughly cleaned. Spray application is recommended. For the first application, spray the release agent evenly onto the hot mold 2-3 times and allow it to cure for a period of time. The longer the drying time and the higher the temperature, the more durable the release film will be and the more effective releases will be achieved. Production can begin after these procedures are completed. For subsequent vulcanization processes, simply
spray a thin layer every few cycles and allow it to cure for a period of time.
The number of continuous releases depends on the vulcanization equipment, product, and operating conditions. Spray application is recommended.
