160μm Heavy-Gauge Red CPE Base Film
This premium 160μm red cast polyethylene base film is engineered for ultra-heavy-gauge performance applications. Manufactured using advanced precision cast extrusion technology, it delivers exceptional durability, uniform thickness, and superior mechanical properties.
Production Process
Crafted from high-purity LDPE resin homogenously blended with high-concentration, light-fast red masterbatch, this film undergoes precise temperature-calibrated extrusion (175-195℃) for complete fusion. The material is extruded through a high-precision flat die and cast onto mirror-polished cooling rollers for rapid, uniform solidification. Post-extrusion processes include strict thickness calibration, constant tension control, static neutralization, and precision edge trimming, resulting in tight, defect-free rolls with consistent 160μm gauge.
Key Features
- Strict thickness tolerance of ±4% for uniform density and performance
- Vibrant, fade-resistant red color maintains vividness through high-temperature processing
- Superior tensile strength and excellent tear resistance
- Robust puncture-proof performance for heavy-duty applications
- Ultra-smooth surface ensures seamless lamination and coating compatibility
- Optional anti-static treatment available for specialized industrial needs
Product Advantages
The ultra-thick 160μm gauge provides exceptional puncture-proof and load-bearing capabilities, minimizing damage during handling and converting operations. The vivid red color enables quick visual identification in high-volume production lines, enhancing sorting efficiency. The smooth surface improves lamination and coating performance while reducing conversion waste. With exceptional batch-to-batch consistency, this film combines heavy-duty durability with cost-effectiveness.
Application Environment
Optimized for heavy-duty industrial scenarios including industrial packaging, heavy-duty surface protection, automotive component wrapping, and mechanical part shielding. The puncture-proof structure and smooth surface make it ideal for high-demand converting processes. Performs reliably in dry, normal-temperature environments and moderate low-temperature storage (≥-10℃). Optional anti-static treatment makes it suitable for electronics and clean-room related packaging applications.
