NPK Compound Fertilizer Production Line Chemical Powder Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant
NPK Compound Fertilizer Production Line / Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant
This Rotary Drum Granulation production line is equipped with a static batching machine, double-shaft mixer, rotary drum granulator, chain crusher, rotary drum dryer & cooler, rotary drum screening machine, and other auxiliary fertilizer equipment. The annual output can be 30,000 tons. As a professional fertilizer production line manufacturer, we also supply customers with other granulation lines with different production capacities, such as 20,000 T/Y, 50,000 T/Y, 100,000 T/Y, etc.
Detailed Production Steps
1. Raw Materials Batching
According to market demand and local soil analysis results, raw materials including urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulphate, ammonium phosphate (monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, heavy calcium, general calcium) and potassium chloride (potassium sulphate) are proportioned using belt scales. Additives and trace elements are weighed and mixed according to formula ratios, ensuring accurate formulation and enabling efficient continuous batching.
2. Mixing
Prepared raw materials are thoroughly mixed and stirred evenly using horizontal or disc mixers, laying the foundation for efficient and high-quality granular fertilizer production.
3. Materials Granulating
After crushing, materials are transported into the rotary drum granulator by belt conveyor. As the drum rotates, materials form a rolling bed and move along a specific path. Under extrusion forces, materials agglomerate into small particles that become cores, attaching surrounding powder to form qualified spherical granules.
4. Fertilizer Drying
Granulated material is dried to reach standard water content. Internal fins lift material along the dryer's inner wall during rotation. When material reaches sufficient height, it falls back through hot gas streams. Independent air heating system and centralized waste discharge result in energy and cost savings.
5. Fertilizer Cooling
Rotary drum cooler removes fertilizer moisture and lowers temperature, working in conjunction with the rotary dryer in organic and inorganic fertilizer production. This system significantly increases cooling speed and reduces work intensification, and can also cool other powdered and granular materials.
6. Fertilizer Screening
After cooling, unqualified granules are screened out through the rotary screening machine and transported by belt conveyor to the mixer for reprocessing with other raw materials. Finished products proceed to the compound fertilizer coating machine.
7. Coating
This process applies a uniform protective film to granule surfaces, effectively extending preservation periods and creating smoother granules. After coating, the final packaging process begins.
8. Packaging
Automatic quantitative packaging machine handles this final process. The system includes automatic weighing and packing machines, conveying systems, sealing machines, and optional hoppers configured to customer requirements. Quantitative packaging of bulk materials like organic and compound fertilizer is widely used across various industries.
