A: It requires high-temperature stability (-40℃~180℃), water resistance, extreme pressure/anti-wear performance, and compatibility with silicone oil to prevent seal degradation.

Q: How to test for fan clutch slippage with basic tools?
A: After the engine reaches operating temperature, manually spin the fan blades. If they rotate more than 1/4 turn easily or lag during acceleration, slippage is occurring.

Q: What maintenance is needed for fan clutches on long-term parked vehicles?
A: Manually rotate the fan 2-3 times periodically to prevent silicone oil sedimentation, clean debris from fins to avoid jamming, and apply anti-rust oil to metal parts.

A: An aged gasket causes silicone oil leakage (insufficient torque), dust entry (oil contamination), and working chamber pressure drop (adjustment failure).
