Q: Does the new fan clutch need a "break-in" period?
A: It doesn't need a deliberate break-in like an engine. However, the silicone fluid inside needs a few complete cool-down and heat-up cycles to reach optimal performance. So, in the first few days, you might feel its engagement and disengagement become smoother and more timely, which is normal.
