Manual Starters
Manual starters are manually operated devices designed for simple operation without requiring expert intervention. They feature a button or rotary knob that controls the connected equipment through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts to start or stop the motor.
Note: Manual starters do not break the control circuit during power loss, which means the motor may restart automatically when power returns. This may require safety considerations in certain appliions.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, activating the starter drive (Bendix gear system) which engages the vehicle's flywheel.
The starter motor turns to crank the engine and initiate combustion in petrol and diesel vehicles. Once the engine is running, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the gear and flywheel as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark.
