DS-848 Trivalent Black Passivation for Zinc

Performance & Features

Single-component trivalent chromium black passivation exclusively for zinc plating. Wide operating window for easy bath operation and maintenance, delivering uniform black films with good corrosion resistance.
  1. Hexavalent chromium-free, designed for barrel zinc black passivation; forms uniform, compact glossy black film.
  2. Different from nickel-salt black films with poor salt spray performance; neutral salt spray resistance reaches 72–120 hours before white rust appears.
  3. Repairs friction marks during barrel or robotic arm passivation.
  4. Applicable to barrel acid zinc and alkaline zinc plating.
