The SANROCK XYX-3 Multi-Purpose Core Drilling Rig is a versatile water well drilling rig and geological core drill machine in one platform. With a maximum drilling depth of 600m and a large open hole diameter of 300mm, the XYX-3 can drill water wells up to 300m deep while also performing diamond core sampling for geological assessment.
This dual-purpose design eliminates the need for separate water well and exploration drilling equipment — a significant cost advantage for contractors serving rural water supply projects that also require geological data. The 6-wheel trailer chassis ensures the rig can be towed to villages and remote communities with standard vehicles.
