Product Overview
This 9-tooth, 53mm diameter, T38 threaded button bit is engineered for medium to large top-hammer drilling operations. As a primary drilling tool for hard rock applications in mining and tunneling, it delivers strong power transmission and balanced rock-breaking efficiency.
Key Features & Benefits
- 9-tooth design increases contact points with rock, improving drilling efficiency and surface smoothness
- Optimal diameter for projects with standard hole diameter requirements
- T38 thread specification ensures secure connection with compatible drill pipes
- High-performance carbide teeth provide exceptional wear and impact resistance
- Heat-treated alloy steel body delivers superior strength and toughness for demanding applications
- Ideal for medium-hard to hard abrasive rock formations in large-scale blasting and tunnel excavation
Operation & Application
The drill bit connects to the drill rod via T38 threads and mounts on the drilling rig. Rotational torque and impact force from the rig are transmitted through the drill rod to the carbide ball teeth, which continuously impact and cut rock to form boreholes. Simultaneously, high-pressure air or water supplied through the drill rod removes rock cuttings from the borehole.
