Hose Floats are modular buoyancy devices engineered to support flexible hoses and floating pipeline systems operating on water surfaces, particularly in dredging, reclamation, marine construction, slurry transportation, and offshore material transfer.

These floats provide controlled positive buoyancy around the hose body, maintain designed freeboard of the floating line, and distribute buoyancy along the pipeline to ensure operational stability under various conditions including hose weight, conveyed material load, wave motion, current, and repeated bending.

A coastal dredging contractor successfully implemented our Hose Float system for large-scale channel maintenance and land-reclamation operations. The system maintained stable floating configuration while avoiding excessive submergence of the hose between buoyancy points, even when transporting high-density sand and silt mixtures.

The modular design allowed easy assembly on working barges and provided consistent freeboard with reduced uncontrolled sag between support points. The floats could be removed, repositioned, and reused when discharge routes were modified.
