Centrifugal Separation Technology
The disc stack separator efficiently separates solids and liquid phases in a continuous process using high centrifugal forces. Denser solids move outward against the rotating bowl wall while less dense liquids form concentric inner layers. The interface position between phases can be adjusted for maximum separation efficiency. The disc stack configuration dramatically accelerates separation through increased surface area.
2-Phase Separation Process
Separation occurs within a rotating bowl where feed enters via a stationary inlet pipe. The distributor ensures smooth acceleration before the feed enters the disc stack. Liquid phases move through the disc stack to the center and are pumped out via a paring disc, while solids collect in the periphery for intermittent discharge through a hydraulic system.
3-Phase Separation Process
In 3-phase separation, the suspension enters the disc stack with heavy phase and sludge moving toward the bowl periphery while light phase flows toward the center. Heavy phase is pumped out via a paring device, and solids discharge intermittently through a hydraulic system that opens solids ports at the bowl periphery.
