Process Introduction

Pure wood pulp (hardwood dominant) is beaten to moderate degree (65‑70°SR) for softness. Base paper formed, pressed, and dried. Food‑grade paraffin wax is applied via roller coater on one side (3‑5 g/m²). Corona treatment (surface tension 38‑42 mN/m) ensures printability. Flexographic printing with low‑migration inks, then slitting into rolls or die‑cut sheets. No double‑side coating to preserve lightweight flexibility.
