Description

Classic double‑side wax coated candy wrapping paper (30 g/m²) provides excellent moisture barrier and anti‑stick properties, ideal for hard candy, milk candy, and toffee. The food‑grade paraffin wax coating (6‑8 g/m² per side) prevents candy from adhering to the wrapper while maintaining twist retention (≥90°) for automated packaging. Made from pure wood pulp, it is free of fluorescent agents and complies with GB 4806.8 food safety standards.

Process Introduction

Base paper made from 100% bleached chemical wood pulp (no recycled fiber). The paper is surface sized, then coated on both sides with food‑grade paraffin wax via a roller coater. Coating weight is precisely controlled (3‑5 g/m² per side). After wax solidification, the paper undergoes corona treatment (surface tension 38‑42 mN/m) to improve printability. Flexographic printing with food‑grade ink, then slitting into rolls or die‑cut sheets. Twist performance tested on automatic wrapping machines.
