Description

This 55 g/㎡ white fiber cotton paper is specially designed for wrapping compressed Pu’er tea cakes, white tea, and herbal medicines. Made from bast fiber (paper mulberry) and cotton pulp, it offers excellent air permeability (≤3.0 μm/Pa·s) to prevent mold while blocking external odors. Acid‑free and fluorescence‑free, it preserves tea aroma for years.

Process Introduction

Bast fiber (mulberry bark) 5‑15% + cotton linters 20‑30% + softwood pulp balance. Beating degree: long fiber 45‑55°SR. No bleaching – natural color retained. AKD sizing 0.1‑0.3%. Fourdrinier forming with mild shaking for random fiber orientation. Drying at lower temperature (80‑105°C) to preserve fiber toughness. No calendering to maintain high air permeability.
