Product Overview

The Schneider BMXAMI0410 is a four-channel isolated high-level analog input module for the Modicon X80 automation platform. It is designed to acquire standard industrial current and voltage signals from transmitters, measurement instruments and process-control equipment.

The module supports commonly used signal ranges including 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA and positive or negative 10 V voltage signals. Its isolated input architecture helps reduce unwanted interaction between field measurement circuits and the PLC system.

The BMXAMI0410 is suitable for acquiring analog signals from pressure transmitters, flowmeters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, current converters and industrial measurement instruments.

Typical applications include water treatment, process skids, pumping systems, production machinery, HVAC equipment and manufacturing lines.

The configured signal range must match the connected transmitter. Applying a voltage signal to a current-configured channel, or incorrect loop wiring, may result in invalid readings or equipment damage.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

Verify the complete BMXAMI0410 reference before replacement. BMXAMI0800 and BMXAMI0810 provide eight inputs and use different isolation arrangements.

Before removing the original module, record its rack and slot position, channel ranges, scaling parameters, diagnostic settings, terminal wiring and firmware revision.

After replacement, validate each channel using a known current or voltage source and compare the PLC engineering value with the field measurement.
