IAI RCP2-C-SA6-I-PM-0-MT is a single-axis pulse motor actuator controller for a matching IAI RCP2-SA6 electric actuator. It provides stored-position control, movement commands, home-return operation, motion adjustment and controller-status monitoring within an automated machine.

The base configuration specifies an SA6 actuator type, incremental feedback, a pulse motor and 24 VDC controller power. The MT suffix is part of the complete ordering code and must be matched to the original controller and actuator system rather than omitted during replacement.

Compatible Systems and Applications

This controller can be used in assembly stations, transfer equipment, inspection systems, packaging machinery, loading mechanisms and production fixtures fitted with the corresponding RCP2-SA6 actuator configuration.

A PLC can select stored positions, issue movement commands and receive completion, operating and alarm signals through parallel I/O. The actuator stroke, lead, payload and mechanical options must be confirmed separately from the complete actuator nameplate.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

The MT suffix must be treated as part of the product identity. RCP2-C-SA6-I-PM-0 and RCP2-C-SA6-I-PM-0-MT should not be assumed to be identical or directly interchangeable without checking the original documentation, controller label and connected equipment.

Before replacement, back up all available position and parameter data. Photograph the controller label, actuator nameplate, terminals and connectors, and record the PLC wiring before removing the original unit.

Confirm the SA6 actuator type, incremental feedback, pulse motor, 24 VDC input and complete MT option configuration. A similar RCP2-C controller matched to another actuator type or option code may not operate correctly.

RCP2-C is a discontinued controller family. Conversion to the successor PCON-CB platform requires a compatibility review covering the actuator, dimensions, wiring, connectors, firmware and parameter format.
