The SGDH-04AE is intended for selected Yaskawa Sigma-II 200 V servo motors, including compatible SGMAH and SGMPH configurations. Typical applications include packaging machines, feeders, positioning tables, inspection systems, semiconductor equipment, small machine tools, and automated assembly equipment.
Rated capacity alone does not confirm motor compatibility. Verify the complete motor model, winding voltage, encoder specification, brake option, controller command format, electronic gearing, feedback cable, and motor power cable.
Before replacing an existing drive, record the original parameters and confirm the complete SGDH-04AE nameplate, hardware revision, firmware requirement, and connector arrangement. Disconnect incoming power and allow the DC bus to discharge before handling the terminals.
Inspect the grounding, regenerative circuit, motor insulation, brake wiring, encoder cable, power cable, limit inputs, alarm outputs, and external safety circuit. Verify rotation direction and test the axis at reduced speed before returning the machine to production.
Related Sigma-II models include SGDH-02AE, SGDH-05AE, SGDH-08AE, and SGDH-04AE-OY. These models may have different input phases, capacities, suffix specifications, firmware, and compatible motor requirements and should not be treated as direct replacements without verification.
Please provide the complete model number, nameplate photographs, hardware or firmware revision, controller model, controller project, communication or command network, motor model, encoder type, brake requirement, cable part numbers, and existing alarm information when requesting a quotation. Product condition and included components should be confirmed individually.
