The Vacon OPT-B4-V 256P is a dedicated PROFIBUS DP communication option module designed for seamless integration of Vacon 100 and Vacon 20 AC drives into PROFIBUS-based industrial automation networks. Developed by Vacon (now part of Danfoss Drives), this compact plug-in module enables real-time control, parameter access, and diagnostic data exchange between the drive and higher-level PLC or DCS systems—enhancing process efficiency, reducing wiring complexity, and supporting Industry 4.0 connectivity in applications such as pumps, fans, conveyors, mixers, and extruders.
