Custom EI96 Industrial Control Transformer EI Silicon Steel Core Step Up Isolation
The EI96 industrial control transformer is a 50/60Hz low-frequency power transformer built on a laminated EI silicon steel core, designed for voltage step-up, step-down and galvanic isolation inside machine tools, control cabinets and industrial automation systems. Primary and secondary windings are fully separated and terminated on flame-retardant screw terminal blocks, providing safe, low-noise and maintenance-free operation in continuous-duty applications.
Every unit is made to order: input/output voltage, VA rating, tap configuration, terminal or flying-lead termination, insulation class and mounting bracket can all be tailored to your circuit diagram or sample. Typical build shown: Input 115V · Output 230V · 0.9A · 50/60Hz.
Key Features
- 50/60Hz universal industrial frequency design – one part number works on both grid standards worldwide.
- EI silicon steel laminated core – tightly clamped laminations for stable output, low core loss and quiet, vibration-free running.
- True electrical isolation – independent primary and secondary windings block conducted noise and protect operators and downstream controls.
- Step-up / step-down in one platform – 115V, 200V, 220V, 230V, 240V, 380V, 400V, 415V, 440V and custom voltages available.
- Orange flame-retardant terminal blocks – clearly marked, finger-safe, tool-friendly wiring that shortens panel assembly time.
- Class B / F / H insulation options with vacuum varnish impregnation for humidity, dust and vibration resistance.
- Superior voltage withstand – Hi-Pot, insulation resistance, turns ratio and no-load/loaded tests performed on 100% of units.
- Bolt-down steel mounting feet – fast DIN-panel or base-plate installation in standard control enclosures.

FAQ
Q1: Can you build to my voltage and VA rating?
Yes. Send us your input/output voltage, current or VA, frequency and any dimensional limits, and we will provide a design proposal and quotation.
Q2: Do you accept samples or drawings for reverse engineering?
Yes. We can quote from a drawing, a specification sheet, or a physical sample.
Q3: Is the transformer suitable for both 50Hz and 60Hz supplies?
Yes, the core and winding design supports 50/60Hz industrial frequency operation.
Q4: What is the lead time?
Samples are normally prepared within a short development cycle; mass-production lead time is confirmed with each order according to quantity.
