SMD 330 Shielded Power Inductor 33uH High Current SMT Coil For DC-DC Converters
The SMD 330 power inductor is a magnetically shielded, surface-mount (SMT) power choke marked "330", which stands for a nominal inductance of 33µH. It uses a ferrite drum core wrapped in a moulded magnetic resin body, giving low EMI radiation, low DCR and a flat square top surface that is ideal for automatic pick-and-place and vacuum-nozzle handling.
Typical use is the energy-storage inductor in DC-DC buck/boost converters, switching power supplies (SMPS), LED drivers and on-board power modules. Custom inductance (1µH–1000µH), size, current rating and packaging are available from our own winding and moulding lines.
Key Features
- Magnetically shielded structure — closed magnetic circuit sharply reduces EMI/crosstalk, allowing dense layout next to MOSFETs and ICs
- Low DCR, high efficiency — enamelled copper wire winding lowers copper loss and self-heating, improving DC-DC conversion efficiency
- High saturation current — stable inductance under load transients, suitable for high ripple-current switching topologies
- Wide operating temperature — −40°C to +125°C (including self-temperature rise), fit for industrial and automotive-grade environments
- SMT & reflow ready — flat top surface for pick-and-place, lead-free reflow up to 260°C, tape-and-reel packaging
- Full customization — inductance, footprint, DCR, current rating, marking and reel quantity made to your drawing or sample
- Quality system — produced under ISO 9001/IATF 16949 process control, RoHS & REACH compliant, 100% LCR and appearance inspection before shipment

FAQ
Q1: What does the "330" marking on the inductor mean?
A: It is the EIA inductance code. The first two digits are significant figures and the third is the power of ten, so "330" = 33 * 100 = 33µH.
Q2: Is this a shielded or unshielded inductor?
A: It is magnetically shielded. The drum core is encapsulated in magnetic resin, which closes the magnetic path and reduces EMI, so it can be placed close to sensitive signal traces.
Q3: Can I get a different inductance or package size?
A: Yes. We produce 1µH–1000µH in CD43 to CD127 footprints, and can adjust DCR, rated current, height and marking according to your drawing or reference sample.
Q4: What is the MOQ and can I get samples first?
A: Standard items support low-volume trial orders, and free samples are available for qualified engineering evaluation; customers only cover the courier cost.
Q5: How is the product packed and shipped?
A: Anti-static tape & reel in cartons, supporting EXW / FOB / CIF terms by sea, air or express courier.
Q6: Do you provide datasheets and compliance documents?
A: Yes — datasheet, RoHS / REACH declarations and test reports are provided on request before or with the order.
