Mr. Yuan founded Weifang Haibin Chemical Co., Ltd(our sister company). in 1999, specializing in the production of magnesium chloride. Mr. Yuan first started out in the transportation industry, where he discovered that the wastewater discharged into the sea by the salt farms in Weifang's Binhai area — the brine left after solar salt production — was rich in magnesium chloride. This valuable resource was being simply thrown away, which was not only a huge waste of resources but also damaging to the ecosystem. After careful consideration, he decided to invest in magnesium chloride production. In doing so, he not only solved the problems of resource waste and ecological damage, but also supplied the downstream glass magnesium board industry with an excellent raw material. Later, he began producing calcium chloride for the same reason — calcium chloride is likewise found in the wastewater that soda ash plants discharge into the sea.
