Powder Coating Production Line for Carbon Steel Sheets
This powder coating production line is specifically designed for carbon steel sheets of various sizes and geometries, delivering a safe, durable, and high-quality surface finish.
The spray booth is constructed from PVC material, offering excellent chemical resistance, durability, and ease of maintenance. The coating process integrates automatic spray guns with supplementary manual coating, ensuring precise and uniform application even on complex workpieces.
The system combines a skid-type ground conveyor for the pretreatment section and an overhead conveyor system for the powder coating section, enabling stable operation and consistent production flow.
Key Features
- Efficient Pretreatment System
Utilizes a skid ground conveyor for reliable and controlled movement through cleaning and surface preparation stages. - Stable Powder Coating Process
The overhead conveyor operates at a constant speed, ensuring consistent coating thickness and uniform finish quality. - Hybrid Spraying Method
Combines automatic spraying for efficiency with manual touch-up for precision, ensuring full coverage of complex geometries. - High Process Integration
From surface preparation to final assembly, the line is designed for smooth workflow and optimized productivity.
Production Line Workflow
- Welding Area Loading
A manipulator loads the cabinet body and door panels onto separate stations. - Metal Grinding
A robot polishes weld seams on the cabinet body, while door panels undergo manual weld polishing and overall surface finishing. - Phosphating Application
Workpieces are wiped with a phosphating solution to enhance coating adhesion and corrosion resistance. - Moisture Drying (40–50°C)
Parts are dried to remove residual moisture prior to further processing. - Manual Putty Application
Operators apply putty to fill surface imperfections. - Putty Drying (40–50°C)
Putty is cured to achieve proper hardness and adhesion. - Manual Putty Grinding
Surfaces are manually polished to achieve a smooth and uniform finish. - Workpiece Accumulation
Approximately 100 sets of workpieces are buffered before transfer to the next stage. - Mechanical Loading Transfer
Accumulated parts are transferred to the main coating line. - Dust Blowing
Electrostatic air guns are used to remove dust and contaminants from surfaces. - Coating Application
Automatic spraying combined with manual touch-up ensures complete and uniform coverage. - Powder Curing (200°C, 18 min)
Coated parts are cured to form a durable, cross-linked coating layer. - Air Cooling
Workpieces are cooled to stabilize the coating properties. - Manual Installation of Casters
Final assembly step where casters are installed. - AGV Transfer
Finished products are transferred via AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) for downstream handling or packaging.
