Product Overview

Nonylphenol Ethoxylate NP-8.6 is a nonionic surfactant formed by the addition of nonylphenol and 8.6 mol of ethylene oxide. It appears as a light yellow, transparent, viscous liquid at room temperature with an HLB value of approximately 12.5.

Solubility: Readily soluble in water and organic solvents
Solution Appearance: Transparent aqueous solution
Chemical Resistance: Resistant to hard water, weak acids, and weak alkalis
Compatibility: Can be compounded with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants
