Octylphenol Ethoxylate (OP-40) is a nonionic surfactant produced by the addition polymerization of alkylphenols and ethylene oxide. It appears as a milky white solid paste with excellent water solubility, completely soluble in both cold and hot water.
This product has a high ethylene oxide addition number, extremely strong hydrophilicity, and excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, hard water, and electrolytes. It possesses excellent solubilizing, dispersing, leveling, emulsifying, and antistatic properties, producing rich and stable foam.
It exhibits strong surface activity, good salt resistance, and is compatible with anionic, cationic, and various nonionic auxiliaries.
