Product Description

Sipomer BEM (Ethoxylated Behenyl Methacrylate, CAS No. 125441-87-4) is a versatile long-chain hydrophobic methacrylate monomer designed to enhance the performance of a wide range of polymer systems. Its ethoxylated C22 alkyl structure provides excellent hydrophobicity, flexibility, anti-blocking, slip, and surface modification, while maintaining reliable copolymerization with acrylic, methacrylic, and other functional monomers.

Supplied at a purity of 49–52%, this clear to slightly hazy liquid is compatible with waterborne and solvent-based formulations, including emulsions, dispersions, solution polymers, and bulk polymerizations. Its chemical and thermal stability ensures consistent performance under industrial processing conditions.

Sipomer BEM improves film formation, water and chemical resistance, mechanical durability, pigment wetting, surface smoothness, and tactile feel, making it ideal for high-performance coatings, adhesives, inks, polymers, and surface-functional materials. It can be used independently or combined with other monomers to achieve customized polymer properties and enhanced functional performance.
