Sipomer BEM (Ethoxylated Behenyl Methacrylate, CAS No. 125441-87-4) is a long-chain hydrophobic methacrylate monomer widely used in coatings, adhesives, inks, and emulsion polymer systems. Its unique ethoxylated C22 alkyl structure provides excellent flexibility, hydrophobicity, anti-blocking, and slip properties while maintaining good copolymerization with acrylic and methacrylic monomers. Sipomer BEM enhances film softness, water resistance, durability, and pigment wetting in a wide range of formulations.

This monomer is supplied at a purity of 49–52% and appears as a clear to slightly hazy liquid. It is compatible with most acrylic monomers and common organic solvents, making it suitable for both waterborne and solvent-based systems. Its chemical stability ensures consistent performance under industrial processing conditions.
