Automotive silicone leather is a high-performance, environmentally friendly synthetic leather that has emerged in the automotive interior field in recent years. It uses silicone polymer as its core raw material (replacing the plasticizers, solvents and other ingredients in traditional PVC and PU leather). With its excellent weather resistance, environmental friendliness and durability, it has gradually become the mainstream choice for interior decoration of high-end car seats, steering wheels, door panels, etc.

Strong durability: scratch-resistant, stain-resistant, and easy to clean.

Automotive interiors are subject to frequent contact (such as seat friction, steering wheel grip, and door panel collisions). The physical properties of silicone leather are well-suited for these frequent uses:

Scratch resistance: Surface hardness can reach Shore A85-90 (traditional PU leather is approximately A70-75). It resists minor scratches from keys, fingernails, and other sources, and exhibits a certain degree of self-healing ability (minor scratches can be faded with a high-temperature compress).

Stain resistance and easy cleaning: Low surface tension resists stains such as coffee, juice, and oil, allowing them to be removed with a damp cloth and neutral detergent. No special care is required (traditional leather requires regular waxing, and dark stains are prone to lingering).

Hydrolysis resistance: Long-term contact with sweat and water stains (such as damp seats) prevents mold and hydrolysis (traditional PU leather tends to delaminate and peel when exposed to water).
