Automotive silicone leather is a high-performance, environmentally friendly synthetic leather that has emerged in the automotive interior field in recent years. It uses silicone polymer as its core raw material (replacing the plasticizers, solvents and other ingredients in traditional PVC and PU leather). Automotive interiors are exposed to high temperatures (indoor temperatures can reach 60-80°C in summer), extreme cold (below -30°C in winter), and UV radiation. Silicone leather offers exceptional weather resistance:

High and low temperature resistance: It maintains elasticity in temperatures ranging from -60°C to 200°C, resists hardening and cracking at low temperatures, and resists softening and becoming sticky at high temperatures (traditional PVC leather releases harmful substances at high temperatures, while PU leather ages and discolors at high temperatures).

UV aging resistance: The chemical stability of the silicon-oxygen bond makes it resistant to fading, cracking, or loss of luster after prolonged exposure to sunlight, resulting in a service life of up to 8-10 years (traditional leather typically begins to noticeably age after 5-6 years).
