Separate Type WM-106 Integrated WM-206 Whiteness Meter Detector Blue Light Measurement
Applications
The Whiteness Meter is designed for direct measurement of whiteness values on flat surfaces of objects or powders. It is widely used across multiple industries including textile printing and dyeing, paints, chemical building materials, paper board, plastic products, white cement, ceramics, enamel, talc powder, starch, flour, salt, detergents, cosmetics, and other materials.
Measurement Principle
This instrument consists of four main systems: Light Source, Optical System, Detection System, and Data Processing & Display System. It utilizes the blue light whiteness R457 calculation formula with a long-life LED light source at 457nm, compliant with JJG 512-2002 National Metrological Whiteness Meter Verification Regulation. The measurement operates on the photoelectric effect principle, where diffuse reflectance radiant brightness energy from the sample surface is received by the optical cell, amplified through high-precision auto-zeroing operational amplifiers, calibrated through energy calibration circuits, and displayed as direct whiteness values.
