Matte PET Thermal Lamination Film is manufactured using high-speed co-extrusion laminating line, featuring PET (polyester) film as base material layer and EVA as heat sensitive layer.
Thermal lamination film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines and consists of two layers: plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET) and adhesive glue (EVA). Also known as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.
Used by printing houses for commercial and school printings, graphic arts large format applications. The transparent film lamination (glossy or matte) is heated as protection on paper covers. Specific applications include:
Lamination process joins two or more layers to protect prints. Requires a hot laminator (thermal lamination roller machine) to melt EVA adhesive onto paper surface. The film passes over a heated roller under pressure to stick to paper. This easy process can be done at home for small applications.
