The Industrial Autoclave is a large pressure vessel that cures AAC blocks with saturated steam at high temperature and pressure, giving them their final strength and dimensional stability. Loaded moulds or cars of green blocks are wheeled into the cylindrical autoclave, the door is sealed and steam is admitted to raise the internal pressure and temperature to the set point for a controlled curing cycle. The strong, precisely fabricated shell and reliable door seal hold the pressure safely, while insulation limits heat loss and steam consumption. Available in a range of sizes and pressure ratings, the autoclave is the key curing stage of every AAC production line.

Industrial autoclaves are used in AAC plants to steam-cure aerated concrete blocks and panels, and in the production of sand-lime brick, calcium silicate products and other autoclaved building materials. The autoclave is shipped in sections with the shell ends and openings protected, and the door, valves and instruments crated separately.
